Farnborough Match

Half Time: Chippenham leading 1-0. McClure penalty, 45 mins. Great time to score, eh?!

From the Farnborough forum:

“Bossed it, nothing to show for it. Struggling to unlock a team with 11 players behind the ball. They have one attack just before half time and get a pen. Sod’s Law!”

Last minute winner for Weymouth - moves us to 16th!

Re: Farnborough Match

Forum is always quieter with positive results eh 😉

Defended very well today, not as good as we have been in our attacking play but they barely got a sniff.

2 more wins and that’s job done.

Re: Farnborough Match

Poor game on a heavy pitch.
A game of very few chances. Not one for the highlights package.
Fasenmade looked to pull a hamstring which was disappointing.
But a wins a win.
Onto Weymouth Tuesday.

Re: Farnborough Match

Top of the (form) table. We’re such a great knockout team under Horgs. The run at the end of last season was effectively knock out situation, record breaking cup and trophy run and now when we needed to start winning we go four on the trot.

On to the next one.

Re: Farnborough Match

That’s 4 wins in a row, the best we have done in this league. A performance full of organisation, effort and hard work on a heavy pitch. Mehew and Russe were excellent in midfield as were the 2 centre halves. The only downside was Fass going off. Excellent support as well with a good turnout on the supporters coach and people making their own way. Happy days. 😁

Re: Farnborough Match

Might not go Tuesday, a few weeks ago there was the uncertainty about which team would turn up. Look at them now; week after week all they serve us up is wins. Most inconsiderate!

We done! Always knew there was a good team in there after spanking Lincoln!
