    Our last ever visit to Bashley?

    No not due to any relegation. Bashley are planning to merge with New Milton Town and play at the Wessex League side's ground from next season under the name of Bashley New Milton. So far the good old Southern League have vetoed the name change. An appeal to the equally understanding FA has been made.

    Would be a shame but i guess that it is sign of the times. Shame to lose a decent ground though.

    Indeed. Hope they don't build houses on it. I dont know whether Bashley own it but if they do a sale would set them up for a few years. I can see the attraction of moving down the road though, better access, a larger community with potentially larger crowds etc
