3 - 1 home win. Concord smashed last week, confidence rock bottom, very poor away form, no support. Crowd of 675. STAYING UP STAYING UP.

I must say Reginald 74 that I very much admire your optimism regarding our current situation, but facts don’t lie - we are in deep doo doo, and anything less than a win tomorrow will not be acceptable. Agreed Concord Rangers are in a poor run of form, but so are we. If we put in an inept performance like we did against Worthing, we will surely get caught out. This slow tippy tappy academy style football is in my view not the Chippenham Town way. I hope the Manager picks an attacking minded team tomorrow, to give us loyal fans something to cheer about - COYMB

Concord have won more league games than us and had a midweek boost of beating Hornchurch (who look likely to be promoted from Isthmian Premier) in midweek to reach the Essex County cup final. Perhaps if we kick down the slope first half our fortunes will change.

Agree with your comment about kicking down the slope first half, recent games have not worked out well when kicking the other way. First goal is always important but tomorrow's (if there is one) under the circumstances could well shape the rest of the game. Not sure what your crowd prediction is based on Reg - is it free admission?

Oh dear, here we go again…1-0 down.

And it gets worse: now 2-0 down. What’s gone wrong against the team at the bottom of the league?

Will be interesting what Reg has to say about this afternoon. Didn’t think l would see a team worse than us this season but Concord certainly were. And we couldn’t beat them which says just how bad we are. On that showing l would say that’s 2 of the relegation places filled.
Posting after the Worthing game l described the performance as ineffective after today would say ineffective, toothless and clueless. Only positive thing you could say we didn’t give up.Same comments appearing after every game eg slow build ups, no service for McClure, too much passing back/sideways and a change is needed quickly. Would say a change in tactics but what tactics??? Painful to watch. Understand Windsor had an injury but why was Fasenmade on the bench? Can’t see he was injured given the way he was running around when he came on. Playing the team bottom of the league and a game we had to win and we start as we have all season with a defensive lineup. Really is baffling.
Don’t normally comment on officials but have to say today’s referee was very weak particularly as far as Concord’s time wasting tactics were concerned. Right from the start their goalkeeper was taking an age to take goal kicks. Once they were in front could have gone for a tea and drunk it in the time he was taking! Yet he then books a player for taking his time over a throw in and ignores the time the keeper was wasting. Have to say did get the sending off right.
If Reg follows the same logic when he said we should beat Concord l would assume that given recent results and away form he will predict a loss to Weymouth!

Lessons from today:
1. Never leave a game early
2. The player that was sent off needs to buy every player a beer.
3. Corners were better today.
4. Come on referee; booking a player for taking his shirt off!
5. That equaliser probably saved the managers job.
6. Six draws, let’s make it seven on Tuesday!
