Re: Hungerford

I would expect  a very heavy pitch today, so could be a bit of a battle. I will go for a hard fought 1-0 win.

Re: Hungerford

Can’t see any notice of radio coverage today so assume there is none. I see Dale Wootton is today’s ref not always been kind to us in matches at TSS. Listened to Cheshunt v Slough instead, both Slough commentators predicting Chippenham Town to be relegated.

Re: Hungerford

Difficult game on a heavy bobbly pitch. We looked far the more likely to score in the first half with 3 or 4 bits of excellent  interpassing into their penalty area. .. plus an effort off a post.  I missed their goal at the start of the second half because the snacks queue  was ridiculously long taking over  20 minutes to produce 2 Bovrils!! ....but do know that it was just after Will Tizzz had to come off with concussion injury sustained in  the first half.  Lost our way a bit in mid half, but with two timely substitutions we began to threaten again... scoring near the death.  A well deserved point.  MM looked a class act and was behind some of our most dangerous forays.  Good to see Craig Fas get some minutes at last..... and a goal!  Was impressed by our determination to keep playing patient football right up to the last minutes... not just hoofing  it to MM.. Promising.

This isn’t far off for me. Terrible terrible pitch and we had some nice football but really can’t keep saying we should have won blah blah blah - missed so many good chances.

Re: Hungerford

Agreed, two below average teams, luckily there is four teams worse than us, taking that into consideration I still expect a mid table finish.
