Harlow Town have resigned from the Southern League due to problems with their newly laid 3G pitch!

If you look at the video of players warming up, the pitch looks like a Swiss cheese... pocked in mini craters. Presumably this is a construction defect; either the substrate has collapsed or water has pooled beneath it ( poor drainage?) and made the surface into a water bed. Hopefully, with a Chairman, Neil, who specialises in groundworks and surfacing, this problem really should not arise at the TSS if/ when the Board elect to go down the 3G route.

My understanding of CTFC wishing to convert to a 3g pitch is that if the existing pitch has a deviation (slope) from either side to side or end to end, the deviation cannot be more than 4 feet. I believe ours is approx 8feet from the school end to the Sports Club end. Will be interesting to see our plans to overcome this. I have watched many games at Cirencester since they installed 3g, and that is a superb surface.
