One of those games unfortunately where you will look at the scoreline and draw conclusions but sadly a recurring theme of being the better side but not getting what we deserve continues here. A slow start to be perfectly honest and probably rightly punished by not switching on to the obvious target man tactic of the opponent playing for Manors head and playing for scraps and second balls. After the break a much more confident display, dominated for 40 minutes and got the goal we deserved before their keeper pulled off two worldies to keep the scoreline level. Then almost inevitably a blatant handball on the right hand side, ref has offered some BS explanation for it afterwards but their winger was allowed to catch the ball and roll it into Nana Kyei and the game was done. Third goal was handball as well, controlling the ball with his forearm before spinning the defender and killing it dead. Poor show really but it's what we've come to expect in this league from referees and their assistants! However, big game next, no time to panic, we had a worse run of form than this last season and ended up in the playoffs, all this talk of relegation battles is silly, we will put together a little run of results and before you know it, flying away from the poor sides in this league like Cheshunt, Hungerford, Concord and the likes.
