Re: Lincoln City tickets

Second Frank’ posting re listening and updating announcement. Going back to my previous post would be nice to know if season ticket holders have to queue up to get their ticket. Seems silly if have to queue when ticket has been reserved

Re: Lincoln City tickets

Just been announced tickets will be available tonight after all. The miscommunication has been fixed quite quickly, but you'd expect a bit more organised especially as they had same situation to learn from only three years ago!

Funny old game wrote:

I am cautious on criticising the club as its a club, like so many others, ran by volunteers and with good intentions...but if an announcement summed this club up though, it was this...limited time slots to buy them, no mention of priority for season ticket holders, no opportunity to buy them at all next week and then to top it all off no online sales.  Cant even buy them at tonights game (which would be a captive audience).

The club is a business heading into the territory of a reasonable sized club but has the infrastructure of a well funded village cricket team.  Lets hope everyone can make those time slots and it sells out!!

Not so cautious that you couldn't exercise a little more restraint, in your criticism!.  It doesn't take much imagination and basic human kindness to realise that....yes, the club is run primarily by volunteers,  and insulting comments about being run like a village cricket team must be hugely demotivating and morale-sapping to those who give so  generously of their time.  Perhaps you could spend some of your surplus energy on volunteering your services, rather than running down the service of others?  Your points, mostly valid,  could have been framed in a much more objective, thoughtful and kinder way.

Re: Lincoln City tickets

Hope we do of course but not sure we’ll sell out, wasn’t the Northampton game on a Sunday?  All other local clubs in action so that’ll have some effect on the gate.

Good news tickets on sale tonight.
