Back to the Hendon performance I suspect. Exactly why I didn’t go tonight.
Lincoln Reserves must be bricking it!

Nice to see the positivity flowing again lads As good as our football has been first half, good patterns chance creation and if Harvey slots that 1v1 I think we are well on a stroll to three points. Sadly football doesn’t work like that and a set piece undone us on a night where Will Henry touched the ball for the first time in the 94th minute picking the ball out the net! Not helped by about 8 lads missing from the squad due to flu like symptoms and various other ailments but no excuses. We are a goal or two away from a very good side, here’s hoping Fas is back soon and injuries clear up for a good run over the next few months. Great night for sales on the FA Cup tickets as well, more to come this week. Enjoy the big day guys, although I’m sure more than a few will be moaning if we don’t stick 4 past League One Lincoln. And as for playing their reserves, I hope they don’t show us that respect in playing their first team but I assume they won’t want any slip ups knowing this isn’t going to be a cake walk. Heads up lads, it’s a testament to how far we’ve come that so many people are disappointed we aren’t strolling through every game at this level with 3 points and flawless performances but a serious reality check needed for a few. We will be more than ok, just keep the faith! Thought Leighton was superb tonight, great debut for him and some great performances across the pitch tonight from the boys in blue, unlucky tonight lads, go again Saturday against Concord

Four key players missing with Covid. Unfortunately no cutting edge up front but we didn’t deserve to lose that - a great effort from who was available. The young lad at left back looks a good prospect.

Hard to be positive when you've scored 8 goals in 13 games, the worst record in the entire league and created just 1 actual chance against a more than beatable team.
Granted, we are inundated with injuries and hopefully Fasanmade, Hanks and Parker (Jones, Simpson and King to a lesser extent) can provide the creativity to create chances and the goals to match when they are back fit.
Young off for Santos completely ruined our good momentum at the start of the second half so assume it was a fitness issue rather than tactical. Tuodolo easily MOTM, right footer, first start from the academy, filling in at left back but didn't put a foot wrong.
Concord just beat Dover away so will be in good spirits for Saturday. Hopefully we can get a few back from injury and actually score a goal or, who knows, maybe even two, and get an overdue win. A horrible watch our games at the moment but I back us to turn our form around, too much quality in the squad not to. Sooner the better.

Not just NLS but worst record across all 3 divisions. The problem is there for all to see. On a positive note we seem to have an abundance of riches when it comes to defenders. Yet another different back four tonight but as usual very solid and unlucky to concede at the end. Agree the lad at left back (Tuodolo?) looked a real prospect.

You always want Jordan Young on the pitch but the boy was dead! Horrible cold he’s got, off his deathbed to play 60 tonight.
Tricky games coming up against Concord and Braintree but could be turning points. A good run at this stage of the season sees you right back in the race. Timing is key, we didn’t half do it last year! I back Horgs and the lads to get it right again. Remember new gaffer, new ethos, this is a project as much as anything. I like the fact we seem to have the ball on the deck more and trusting young talent to come through and challenge for shirts. Safety is key, sounds odd after being in the playoffs last year and everything else is a bonus in year one of a project. Every box we’ve asked him to tick, he’s ticked. Using the academy, getting to Round One of the cup, playing well within our budget, delivering a better brand of football than the direct hoof to the channels. This is a manager that deserves our support, a real Chippenham guy that has the potential over time to be the next long term, legendary manager. Back him!
