Gloucester City’s new manager is Steve King formerly with Dartford.

I thought that nice Mr. King only managed full time clubs ! Gloucester City have reverted back to semi-pro this season. That is going to be one hell of a commute for him as he lives very close to where my Sister lives in Surbiton, Surrey. Cannot imagine Gloucester will offer to relocate him, not in this current economic climate !

Cue the influx of players. He’s well known to sign loads of players. Think I read he’d signed over 50 during his spell with Dartford.

I’m well informed that he is the most successful non league manager regarding play offs and promotions, obviously being well paid, taking into consideration travel etc. Glos City, Brackley Town and St Albans City all sacked managers this week.

What record? He's a specialist in failure and signs 40 players per season.
Good luck Gloucester.

He is the most successful manager in the National Conf South on record, that is a fact. Check it out.

He’a successful but use’s huge number of players and won’t even go near the academy players. Requires a big budget to do this and is we’ll known to leave clubs worse off financially when he leaves.
And although successful win to loss ratio has not taken a club out of conference south/north. Doesn’t like penalties.
IMHO a massive risk as no probably knows little about The North and local players and must be getting a decent wage to commute.
Oh and he’s friends with Marc White and Jerry Gill. Says it all really. Ego’s all round.

Why so bitter ?
