A great win at Billericay

Wow, another top away day on the train. Defended brilliantly with Will making two top saves in the first half. Mayhew was combative in midfield and Zaid Al-Hussaini looks tricky and exciting. Hanks did well as an emergency centre forward when Jordan went off. Dabre took his goal well. Bizarre decision by the ref to give a free kick after booking Will for time wasting, then gave him a second yellow. Young Bailey Leach came on and saved the free kick. A big 3 points to keep us in the mix for the playoffs.

Re: A great win at Billericay

I fully expect us to make the play offs looking at other contenders fixtures. Roll on Maidstone

Yes, a great away win against a team fighting for their lives. Listened to some of the radio commentary, it sounded like a tough match, plenty of bookings. Is Will suspended soon? As always I admire your confidence Reg, but surely no-one has a tougher set of fixtures left than us? Looking forward to the Maidstone game.

Re: A great win at Billericay

A really good win against an inform and fired up Billericay side. Looking forward to the Maidstone game this coming Saturday. They sit four points clear at the top of the division. They will definitely come to win the game. That will suit our young side. Hopefully we can get a decent crowd into the Park for this one. And Maidstone will bring a very large following to bump up the atmosphere. Can’t come round quick enough for me. Good luck to Mike and the lads. 😎

Re: A great win at Billericay

We are better against the so called big clubs hence my optimistic thoughts, I really don't think the league is as good as everyone thinks. St Albans and Dulwich in poor form it's a shoot out with Hungerford, Havant and us. Expect 900 next week.

Re: A great win at Billericay

Good result away from home under the circumstances. The remaining games are almost all against play-off contenders, so a few wins will almost count double. Met some disgruntled Dulwich fans on the train in Bath yesterday who were disappointed not to put them to the sword

Re: A great win at Billericay

Yes great win and keeps us in the hunt for the last playoff place, but looking at the highlights, what the hell was will henry thinking of,all he had to do was boot down field, no to easy clearly time wasting (and we don't like it done to us) then throughs the ball backwards, could have cost us at the end.
The commentator, christ thought we won the champions league.

Re: A great win at Billericay

"Stato Corner"
In his post-Billericay-match  interview with Mike" Le Chef" Cook, Simon mentions not remembering when CTFC last had a goalkeeper sent off.  Can anyone confirm or dismiss His Lordship's memory of Young Puddy seeing red,  delivering a Glasgow Kiss to an opposition forward and then being shown red... only a couple of years ago?  His Lordship admits to being somewhat doddery .. so the gears of memory might be slipping a little! Couldn't argue for a minute about Young Henry's 2nd yellow; its the first that seemed harsh.  As a result,It will be even tougher going against a pretty rampant Maidstone without WH and JY.  Anyone aware of a WH replacement?  It would be a massive step-up for Bailey L. - " the baby-faced assassin". All the more reason for lending a shoulder as  12th man/woman/child support tomorrow. COYB.
