We know they have quality, come on what's going on.

Good point blinding, manger obviously doesn’t trust our own lads, presumably our older u23 players will be despondent and rightly so.

I agree with Blinding, surely it's a centre forward we need the u23's can fill the other places.

This all seems rather strange, at least its boosting the squad numerically for the run-in. Let's wait and see....

Having seen quite a few of the academy home games this season have to say there are some really good players there. If all the loan signings were experienced “older players” could understand the signings particularly if the playoffs were realistic but I think they are beyond us as too inconsistent so why not give some of our own young players a chance. As Reg says must make them feel dependent. The academy games l have seen all been entertaining so would great to give them some encouragement and get down to the game on Tuesday particularly as they stand a chance of winning their league. Perhaps those who come on here complaining about attendances come along if able to boost the attendance!

The point of any Academy is to develop players and bring into the first team or sell on for profit, a couple have progressed to league clubs and a couple have played first team football, it's clear the introduction of young homegrown players would increase attendances, fans love a local lad doing well. Non league journey men demand silly money these young guns would play and do play for a snip in comparison.

Not too convinced by that - it's been long discussed about our crowds this season and we've the youngest team for years.
