It was him as I was there watching the match

Bit concerning them having kept on Tom Smith, signed someone from the Scottish Premiership and now possibly signing one of the best players I've seen at Chippenham in the last few years.

Bath sold Donovan Wilson to Sutton for a big fee so are probably spending some of that cash on improving their side. Assume Will Richards is not on contract with us - or maybe he was and has now been sold to Bath.

Will left us in 2019 to go to Australia, he's not been contracted since then.

Thanks Admin. I should have said that I wonder if Chippenham had retained his registration but accept that would have been unlikely meaning he would be a free agent on his return. Bit frustrating but also indication of our progress that other clubs are keen on current and former players.

Will was watching Chippenham's game at Cirencester on Friday evening. He was standing with our chairman. Whether anything can be drawn from that, I have no idea.

I think speculating as to Will's next move at the moment is almost impossible. Came to see us, played for City in the 3-3 against Gloucester, I would not be surprised to see him turn out for us in one of our next two friendlies against Melksham or Eastleigh. Will is a fantastic bloke and a great player, his move will not be motivated by money but more where he feels happier and he loves the club, he loves the people. Let's hope it's enough to convince him that Chippenham is where he should be playing his football this season, god knows he is the best centre defender I have ever seen at the club and after watching the game against Gloucester for Bath on Saturday afternoon. He hasn't lost any of it during his time down under! Come home Will, CTFC F*****G loves you!
