You know if I had one wish for 2021 it would be that someone could post something like this without it turning into a "Dick Measuring Contest"! I have probably disagreed with every single person on this forum at least once, some people I have actively wanted to hunt down and throw stones at, but we are all Chippenham and mere observations shouldn't constantly cause controversy. The club is run on a very small band of volunteers and those volunteers are greatly appreciated by all but, (and I am not assuming by the way this is the case) but, how do we know that the person who made the observation "CAN'T" volunteer for whatever reason? This site is complete anonymity. Some sleuthing and more often that not, just outright honesty means we know who a few people are on here but for the most part we have no idea who we are calling out. Opinion is one thing but more often that not this forum just turns into a witch hunt and an excuse to vent or rant at someone with no deniability. No wonder the admin wants to wash his hands of the task and the club won't recognise this as anything more than a soapbox.
