    Tom Harrison

    Today signed for Gloucester City.

    That will be a big loss to us, as only 6 days ago it was announced his loan period would extend beyond 31/12/2020 - Let's hope Cooky has someone else in mind as we appear to be a bit low on numbers and height in defense. Any idea what's happened to Danny Greenslade and Ryan Brunt ? They seem to have done a disappearing act

    Not sure it was a loan Tony, I’m informed it was a permanent deal following his release from City.  Hamilton I would think will step back in for now, when is Will Richards back from Oz, now there is one for you.

    Just 6 days ago was announced as a Bluebirds signing following his release from Bristol City.
    Adam Mann and Ryan Brunt both joined on short term deals when we were struggling with injuries as cover so would imagine they have both parted company.
    Greenslade more than likely injured has had problems in past

    Was on loan for them last season and was probably offered more money. They appear to be throwing cash around at the moment and some of their players are full time, hence why Hamilton, Jackson etc... are with us.

    Yep CTFC statement saying It was part of the deal agreed with Tom when signing for CTFC that in pursuit of full time football, if another club came in and could offer him that, CTFC would let him go and he has signed for them today.

    Thanks for clarifying Tom Harrison's situation Reginald74 and Anonymous. Blimey I did not realise that some of the Gloucester City lads were full-time - indeed there must be some cash floating around up there ! With regards to Will Richards, I understand he is due back from OZ at the end of January 2021, but in view of the current COVID situation, I not sure what the rules are regarding re-entering the country from abroad. In my view Will Richard is the finest player I have seen in my long association with the club to pull on the beloved CTFC shirt, and a lovely lad he is as well. I would hope he would want to come back to us when able to do so. His overall marshalling the defense skills have been sorely missed in my opinion.

    Communication from the club regarding player injuries/departures would be helpful

    Space Raider that will be seen as being negative, you will be told to stop moaning , saying all that I totally agree communication continues to be poor.

    I do think actually the club's social media communication (twitter mainly) on the whole is very good. But one thing they could improve on is letting us know when a player is out injured or has left. We've not seen Brunt or Mann for a few weeks and I've no idea if they're even still at the club. A brief update before each match stating who's unavailable would be great.
