Never on a Sunday

Clubs are rightly beginning to rebel at the autocratic decision of the Southern League Board to insist that teams play ther away matches v Kettering on a Sunday.

Time to rebel - a vote of no confidence at an EGM - after all it was them that voted Kettering in against the wishes of most fans/clubs who saw it all coming AGAIN

Weymouth's official site:

Wednesday 21st November 2012

Following the decision made by the Board of the Southern Football League to allow Kettering Town to ground share at Corby Town we have been informed that we must agree to change our scheduled fixture at Kettering from 22 December 2012 to Sunday 23 December 2012, at Corby. We are presently trying to agree a kick off time and will publicise this as soon as we have it. On behalf of the Board of Weymouth Football Club I apologize for this decision and assure you that I have done all I can to get this decision changed, needless to say without success.
Obviously this is the last day that anyone should be asked to play a football match, but there are no further avenues for me to take.
