I see Chesterfield were ordered to replay their 4th qualifying round of the FA Cup v Stockport after they had played a player who had not been registered properly. The result was reversed with Stockport winning. I seem to remember our board were told that the FA made no exceptions for rule breaking in the FA cup (after we had unknowingly played the banned Curtis Jack). Since that decision several EFL clubs have not been expelled despite committing
offences, Chesterfield are the first non league club to be given a second chance, although they are a former League side.
