Re: Leamington v Chippenham Town.

Luck doesn't come into it over a season.. It's November and we're where we are because of results. True a run of 3 or 4 would change things, but look: Bideford and Bedworth both have defensive records that suggest that wins are possible if we are tight. It's no use us playing well against the Leamingtons of this world if we capitulate against teams in the bottom 5.
Thats the challenge, and it's one where we've fallen down under previous regimes. Do we have class . or do we simply rise as underdogs? Over to the team. COYB.

Re: Leamington v Chippenham Town.

Surprised to hear that Egan has moved on as he seems to have been getting the nod recently over the other wingers we have and has been improving every time I see him play. Against Sholing we had Guthrie, Ballinger and Barnes as subs and only Egan playing which was an odd lop-sided shape for the team formation.

Fortune I guess was cover that we can't afford now but agree he didnt really get a proper run out.

A 1-0 loss away to Leamington given our current relative league positions isnt necessarily a bad result, but clearly we need to start winning games or it will be a nervy bottom of the table fight this season rather than the usual mid-table, play-off fringes we have become used to.

Am concerned the way the supposedly experienced players we have brought in appear to be playing the "big time Charlie" and showing disrespect to the new management  - so far those concerned (not just Phillips) havent really shown anything at all on the pitch that justifies that attitude in any way IMHO. They need to realise we win as a team of which they are part

Re: Leamington v Chippenham Town.

I agree NEWFAN. Mr Phillips language on Saturday was disgusting for someone we brought to the club with a good reputation. The way he spoke to some of his suppose team mates was poor and I hope the club come down hard on him and any others so it dont happen again. As for Josh Egan i heard from a club offical he has gone to Weston and Clayton and been released due to footballing reasons but has fell out of the love of the game.
Anyway lets hope for 3 points tomorrow and a big crowd at home on Saturday to get behind the lads (Bedworth)
