Re: The Big Game...

No-one making any predictions?
My heart says 2-0 but my head says 1-1. Can't wait for later!

Re: The Big Game...

Just needs to be a good performance from everyone enjoying the occasion and a bit of luck. Typically we raise our game for a better opposition and slip up frustratingly against poorer sides. Pressure should be on them but we won't know how they deal with that until we are into it.

I don't see us winning a replay at their place so I'm thinking 2-1 if we are able to nick an early goal

Re: The Big Game...

I’ll go 3-2 us.  Richards , Chris and Chambers. Good luck Mark, Horgs and the lads.  Hope we can do ourselves proud today. 😎

Re: The Big Game...

Unlucky to concede at a corner with Richards off the pitch with a nosebleed from a previous challenge. Next goal soon after with Richards back on the pitch but defence still unsettled. Killer goal just before HT. Played much better in the second half but couldn't get the consolation goal that would have sent the crowd home happy. Didn't play badly particularly just beaten by a better side

Re: The Big Game...

Yes a professional performance from the visitors and they eased off in the second half. We had quite a few chances so a shame we couldn't at least get a consolation, but the Cobblers could have scored a few more themselves. No disgrace in the performance or result.

Re: The Big Game...

Agree with the above.  Just great to see the old place packed to the rafters.

Re: The Big Game...

Proud to be a Bluebird, the lads didn't disgrace themselves against a very well organised team . both Puddy and Richards were immence and up front we we unlucky not to score. Well done the Chairman for putting on a great show.

Re: The Big Game...

Agree with Hobgoblin's points above. I thought Northampton put on a thoroughly professional performance, in particular they controlled the midfield. We didn't have any luck in front of goal but the second half was clearly much more even and there was no lack of endeavour. The team and indeed the whole club did Chippenham proud. Despite the result a very enjoyable experience, thanks CTFC!

Re: The Big Game...

TV highlights confirm why Puddy was rightly given MOTM
