At most clubs season ticket holders get first go at buying tickets for big cup games before they go on general sale but obviously not at Chippenham.

is it confirmed that the game will be on the Saturday?

It's in the fixture list on the club website as a Saturday game, standard 3pm kick-off. Are we assuming this is all-ticket?

I imagine it's a Saturday kick-off at 3pm until told otherwise. We've not been selected for TV

That's a shame but let's show BT and the Beeb what they are missing!

Guys, we don't need to prioritise season ticket holders here unless there is some pride in being one of the earlier ticket numbers? There will surely be some 1800-2000 tickets available to be purchase by Chippenham supporters and I am fairly certain that by the time the Welling game comes around (where logically all season ticket holders will be in attendance) there will still be a great many tickets left for the game.
Chippenham is not a massive club, and the logistics of selling to season ticket holders first would damage the time frame we have to move these tickets, the game is only a few short weeks away and lots to do between now and kick off. I assume this will be an all ticket affair right up until the very last ticket is sold, if they still have tickets left on the day, I would assume they would be available for purchase at the entrance to the home fan entrance at Hardenhuish Park so as not to miss out on the revenue.
As for the K/O time and date, I am fairly certain it will be a Saturday 3pm, Sunday games are usually in the FA Cup the teams that are slightly closer together in terms of Geography, we would have an outside shot but after they snubbed us for television I am sure they won't be so cruel as to inconvenience us, however, the Sunday game could be a blessing with many fans of surrounding area teams, being convinced to come along if they are at a loose end. Watch this space I guess.

No real surprises there. The luvvies at the Beeb were always going to choose the 'hip & trendy' Dulwich. Dover/Southend chosen because of the Sol Campbell connection, Hayes v The Pox slightly more attractive than Northampton in all honesty and Harrogate/Portsmouth because the TV companies love a former Cup Winner in the first round.
As for the ticket sales there'll be no need to panic. The game's on a Saturday afternoon with a full non-league programme locally - that'll stop a lot of the "floating voters" attending so we'll do well to shift our full allocation I reckon, though I'll be delighted to be proved wrong.

Didn't we sell out against Worcester last time we made this round?

If we market it correctly, no reason why we shouldn’t. Ticket outlets in the Town centre, schools, businesses, come on its a one off, sell sell sell.
