Re: Oddschecker

Totally agree Voice (daren't use your real name) not sure whether it's the done thing on here am still getting used to it!!

We have a manager and board to be proud of and they deserve our backing. See you at the Oxford game next Tuesday?

Re: Oddschecker

Replaced smile who against good cm went missing off the park, a culpable centre back and a clumsy striker with pure class in all departments. Should be putting my money on playoffs in that case.

Re: Oddschecker

Nickgolledge, you don't know my real name, TheVoice is the best kept secret in Forum history don't you know! Yes i'll be seeing you Tuesday night, hopefully work permitting. Gonna try knock off early but that's not always the simplest thing..

And hey, you know what, I would be delighted with the playoffs. It would be an incredible over achievement and would likely mean that we are erecting a statue of MC in the car park quite similar to the statue of Bobby Moore at Wembley. Let's stay realistic and get behind the lads week in week out. Runs are going to important this year, we need no unnecessary pressure or expectation. I fully back this team to succeed. Decent finish in the league, maybe go that one step further in the FA Cup, still don't give a Sh!t about the FA Trophy or other irrelevant comps.. and we can call this season a really good one. But still, I guess come the end of the season we are gonna look back and call me a visionary or a lunatic based on what unfolds

We’ll be fine, about mid table again. Don’t only 2 go down anyway, not 4?

Can’t see Hungerford beating the drop again this year.

Re: Oddschecker

Genuinely I think Hungerford may surprise a few this year. Don't get me wrong they won't be troubling the top table but, I would be fairly shocked if they dropped into the Evo-Stik.. Think Oxford could be in trouble this year however.

Re: Oddschecker

Despite losing a few players, like ourselves, Hungerford have picked up some useful player's in the close-season, including our old friend James (Beano) Constable. For me the team's to look out for, as well as ourselves of course, I think will be Dulwich Hamlet and Havant & Waterlooville. Weymouth will miss Brandon Goodship, and the other big guy they had up front, who I think has gone to Havant.

Re: Oddschecker

As long as the main core of the team remain fit and available I think we'll be ok.  I'll settle for anywhere above the line right now, with a long run in the FA Cup (we deserve a TV appearance surely).  Getting off to a decent start will be vital with so many games in August. If we can come out of that with 12 to 14 points on board that'll be great and give us a great base to build from.  I wish MC and the whole team (players/staff/board) the very best for the new season.  COYB!
