identical form over last 5 ganes but we have a better GD and more points - its a game we should win if we can field a decent squad and don't get more injuries or suspensions

On BBC Wilts this morning Mark advised that McDonald out for at least 3 weeks with an ankle injury.

I really agree credit must go to the management team. We came out of the blocks really well, as we should do as the home team, particularly kicking down the slope. We know the game is never over at 2-0 when the opposition have the slope in the second half so good to see us scrap for everything and maintain shape. Nervy few minutes at the end but I thought although Truro played well in the second half we deserved the three points. A good team performance, well worth the wet walk home!

Very good performance all round particularly when you consider the formation of the team due to circumstances beyond the managers control. Don't like to criticise the match officials especially when we win but they were shocking.
l think it now appropriate to applaud James Guthrie for turning his season around. Since his return to the side his form has been good, he has bagged some goals but more importantly he has overcome his tendency to make rash challenges or talk his way into the referees book. This must be difficult to achieve so very well done

What a superb first half, great football, great goals and lots of attacking play. Defended very well against a direct Truro.

A very good 3 points today. Against an above average Truro side. For me Will Richards was our man of the match. Very closely followed by Parselle. As we dug deep at the end to preserve the lead. Well done Mark, Horgs and the lads

Carried on from the second half performance at Slough. Should of been 4 up at half time. Full of energy, Rigg again outstanding in midfield with Tariq and Guthrie ( as Bluebird mentioned earlier, he’s like a new player) dangerous out wide. I must admit Jarvis has really surprised me and full credit to him, 20 goals already is great. The pitch made it really difficult and we ground it out second half. Looking forward to Welling

Agree, I thought Rigg was outstanding and Guthrie (so far) is certainly redeeming himself - with Evans' stupid rash tackle immediately after the kick-off earning a yellow, it wouldn't hurt for him to take a look at how Guthrie has controlled his game recently.
Two well taken goals in quick succession and some superb passages of clever passing football characterised our first half, but I still didn't feel comfortable Truro wouldn't get back into the game. Whatever their manager said to them at half time worked and we seemed to lose the rhythm we had going before the break. We desperately needed the third goal to kill them off, but we lacked composure - too many rushed clearances and mis-placed passes. Their goal was a bit of a scramble after a pin-ball game in the box, but it had been coming.
Most of the team played well but I was a little disappointed with Karnell yesterday, but replacing him with Compton was no better. The earlier swap Gunner for Evans was a good bit of management from Collier at just the right time though.
Finally on the officials, how their captain (no. 6) didn't get an early bath for dissent I have no idea. Even after being given a yellow after a complaint from the assistant he carried on exactly as before for the rest of the game. For a captain to behave this way is both poor and downright stupid.

Two great goals, three great points. Everything else has already been said.
