Bath City Away...

Before the doom and gloom descends and the infighting begins. It's important we put results like this in our rear view mirror. Support was strong until a very justifiable 4-0 half time scoreline deflated even the most vocal of fans. We came unstuck today against a good Bath side but we need to show more. That badge on the shirt carries a message and a responsibility to uphold the principles. Mid table at the half way point, is it enough? I would suggest with the squad being repeatedly hit by injury, being a good run away from sneaking a play-off spot isn't bad. It's time to get behind this team and drive it with the manager, the board and the volunteers who work tirelessly to progress it. Today's laughing stock is tomorrow's news. On to Eastbourne we go and 3 valuable points on offer!! Mark Colliers Blue and White Army!!

Re: Bath City Away...

That's all very well Voice but that was embarrassing, it was just like the game after we'd won the Southern Premier and the boys had been on the piss. No fight and worst of all no pride and no passion. I felt so sorry for Brad House his last game for us shouldn't have been like this. Will be interesting to hear Mark's post match interview.
But as you say it's only one match so on wards and lets get a reaction against Eastbourne.

Re: Bath City Away...

Yeah agreed embarrassing performance indeed but no one will know that more than those players right now I'm sure. And if they don't I feel they soon will

Re: Bath City Away...

Just a point, but why do we need two threads for the same topic?

Only asking!

GUTTED

They did to us what we did to them at Trumpton last season.

Surprised Blackandamber hasn't posted yet, maybe he's on the Cambridge Utd forum, they lost 6 nil.

Re: Bath City Away...

Players and manager quite quick to tweet when things go well. Will keep an eye on twitter to see if they're as quick to apologise.

Re: Bath City Away...

No pride,  no passion and no manager -  no contribution or encouragement from the sidelines -  where was the manager when his team needed him ???

Re: Bath City Away...

I watched a football match today which consisted of 11 good individual players and 1 team of good players .  Chippenham were the 11 individuals .    Bath played as a  better team .   Jack Compton and Josh Smile were   ineffective players today .  Wearing gloves made no difference.  Just disappointed that the manager chose to sit inside the dugout instead of offering his players encouragement / advice from the sidelines for most of the match .
