I’m really looking forward to the Twerton Derby on Tuesday. Especially after getting back on to the winning track again yesterday. It wasn’t a classic but we got the job done and more importantly we came away with all three points. The pack was shuffled a little on Saturday. And we really miss McDonald when he’s not playing. But hopefully the rest will have done him good and he’ll be back in our starting 11 down at Twerton Park. Compton had a cracking game Saturday, he was behind nearly every good move. I always think we look a far better side when Jack plays. And hopefully he’ll have earned himself a place in the starting line up. Bath are a decent side but seem to depend a lot on Ross Stern going forward. If we can stay tight on Ross and keep him quiet, I fancy us to win the game. Should be a goodun. If it’s half as good as last year we’re in for a treat. Good luck Mark, Horg and the lads 😎

I would say possibly Chippenhams biggest and most looked forward to game. It's a game I've looked forward to for a while. As is Jono I'm hopping McDonald's and Compton are in the starting line up. Looking at Baths form they have two 2-0 wins either side of the draw at our place. So again it looks a very close call. There deffenders struggled with McCooties pace and power and struggled with Chambers pace and trickery when he went one on one with them. Infact anyone of our lads that took them on, they looked uncomfortable. So they definitely can be got behind. Stearn looked very lively for Bath as did Ryan Brunt. If we can look after those two I can see us winning or at least drawing the game. I'll say 2-3. Good luck boys.

Hopping to Twerton Park with Newbie, don't see how we can play McCootie Compton Chambe without leaving Jarvis out IMHO.Need Macdonald and would also like to see Evans in midfield.

McDonald woke up with a tight hamstring on Saturday so that's why he was missing.

I agree with previous post other than I would like to see Evans start at the expense of Guthrie. We could do with another ball winner in midfield to supply Smile and Compton. Difficult to decide between Chambers and McCootie, but its very much a squad game these days so I'm sure they will both have a role to play.

4-0 down at half time....

Really poor showing. We were lucky to get 0. Hard to say now but we made Bath look like a football league club.

Usually you can pull a few positives from even a bad defeat like today. But I'm really struggling to from that game. Bath did play well. But we just weren't at it today. They pretty much bossed us from start to finish. But we've got to move on. The players know they've let down the traveling support today. After that performance today the only way is up. We play at home again on Saturday and hopefully Mark and Horgs can get a positive reaction from the lads. And we can put today result firmly behind us. 😢

Yes there was a positive today. WE KEPT THE SCORE DOWN TO A SINGLE FIGURE! Completely outplayed everywhere. Bath could pass the ball to their own players something for most of the game we seemed incapable of doing, Did Bath make us look bad or were we just bad and didn't need any help from them. We might be not far off the play off places but with performances like today the play offs are a different world. Be realistic and settle for just staying in this league.

I Think we were bad Joiner. Very bad. Certainly the most lacklustre performance I've seen from Chippenham in this division. Not a positive in sight. Bath really wanted it A massive difference in effort between the two sides. Both sides should be pumped right up. But that wasn't the case. Saturday is another day. 😁
