Re: Hungerford

Well that's the so called " Easy " fixtures out of the way now we have Concord away, Bath home and Hampton & Richmond at home. Anyone want to predict our points total from these games ?

Re: Hungerford

Badly missing McDonald, anyone know what’s up with him?
In control of the game first half and should have gone in 2 or 3 in front.
They changed things around a bit and we were terrible second half. Not looking forward to the derbies at Xmas

Re: Hungerford

Spoke to Curtis in the bar, tells me he rolled his ankle. He and Tindle sat watching which tells a story. The free weekend next Saturday  will take us the firing line and re focus us hopefully. Evans will get a one match ban I presume. Difficult to defend with ten men facing gale force wind, missed chances first half and sending off ultimately cost us. Now we need to get behind the team, but I do know that’s difficult for some. I will be well happy with a top twelve finish.

Re: Hungerford

The 'rose tinted' glasses brigade don't like us to criticise..
Lets face fact..
1. Dumped out of the FAT to lower opposition.
2. Beaten by two sides in the bottom three.
3. Inability to finish with 11 players.
4. With massive games coming up the 14 points between us and the danger zone could evaporate.
Not overly worried; just concerned...

Re: Hungerford

I am one of the rose tinted brigade. Go to all the games home and away and at times make some noise.  Yes, Wingate, Weston and yesterday was very disappointing but we are still 11th. An improvement on last season.

Everyone knows what to expect at Hungerford, not much football and a battle.  Again only played for 45 minutes, didn’t take our chances and lost to a hell of a goal. Even their supporters couldn’t believe it. Ill discipline cost us.

McDonald is a massive miss but let’s stick together and bring a decent support to Salisbury on Tuesday.  Confidence is needed for the 2 Bath games and moaning doesn’t help.

Re: Hungerford

Small margins if we had beaten WSM and Hungerford as we were expected to we would be 3rd. A lot of twists along the way
