Best team lost, now we need to get behind the team and look forward to more success.

The Guthrie sending off killed the game. I like the lad, he's been a great servant but it was a kickout because he couldn't be arsed tracking back. No room for players like that. He's a level behind the others now I'd say.

I'm tired of coming on here and saying Chippenham played well in big games but..
et al..Bedford,Halesowen, Histon.
Chippenham are at a new level and there is no place for passengers. A few years ago Chippenham could never have taken a National Team to two games!
Jordon Edwards should now get the opportunity to show us what he can do. Giving the lad two minutes against Dartfort was an insult.

I don't think we can blame James Guthrie for our F.A Cup exit, but the sending off definitely didn't make life any easier. If I remember rightly, the foul was committed around the half-way line. It certainly looked as though the Maidenhead player brought down, was about to launch an attack, but as has already been said, James could have tracked back.
I thought we more than matched Maidenhead. Josh was spraying pinpoint passes all around the park. Even under pressure we passed the ball so well. We look a very gifted side technically. The team deserves some cup success and I don't mean the Wilts Senior Cup. Let's hope we can have a bit of a run in the F.A Trophy.

Well I think it's all been said really, we were desperately unlucky. On the subject of James Guthrie I'm not a fan of knocking individual players but to me all James really offers is really good free kicks and corners. As long as Josh Smile or Jack Compton are on the pitch then is he needed? And then of course there's his disciplinary record....
But lets be positive we have a club, club officials, and a team to be proud of, and lots more big games to come this season!

Excellent vocal support too. There was only one set of fans making all of the noise when the teams came out and it wasn't the Maidenhead supporters. The cheer for each Chippenham player when the lineup was announced and the 'who' shouted for every Maidenhead player named, was brilliant.

Mark Collier on BBC Wilts this morning, advising that James Guthrie, although available tomorrow, will not be considered for the game and then he is suspended for 4 games. He is suspended more than he plays, and his position at the club is being reviewed. It was an interesting interview.

Yes - has always been the case. Hard worker, but too many rash reckless tackles over many seasons and at times where this was unnecessary.
There are occasions where you "take one for the team" but mostly this has not been the case. Red card vs Supermarine nearly cost us that earlier tie of the FA Cup in similar circumstances
