V Stratford Town. Away. Saturday.

Well we had a bit of a blip at Kings Langley. Some times in football these things happen at all levels of the game. You only have to look at Chelsea's visit to Burnley.  They were very fortunate to come away with a point.  As Mark said, 8 or 9 of our players were below par, when things like that happen you are going to struggle against any side in our division. We came away with a fortunate point, but we didn't lose.  It's how you bounce back from a poor showing that will decide weather or not we are good enough to be champions.  The big two will be back Saturday and I fully expect both Sandell and Tindle to start.  Both were in superb form before there bans.  I'm sure Mark and Tom will want, and will get a reaction from the lads to how we played at Langley.
Stratfords form is poor, but they did have an excellent win away to Biggleswade on Tuesday night. Which should give them a bit of extra confidence for our visit,  which in a way could suit us. When your clear at the top every team wants to beat you.  We are a big scalp for teams like Stratford. But we are top because we deserve to be top.  Good luck to Mark, Tom and the lads.  Let's make sure we bring back the points.  Ohh Fromie and your boys could do us a massive favour and take at least a point away to Hitchin.  😎

Re: V Stratford Town. Away. Saturday.

Totally agree with Jono in his usual excellent pre-match summary. After last Saturday's excellent performance against Kettering, Tuesday's game at Kings Langley was always going to be difficult, remembering how they frustrated us on the first game of the season at home, with what seemed like 20 blokes at the back !! But hey ho we are still on this fabulous un-beaten run, which I believe is a club record (someone correct me if I'm wrong here), and I totally believe the boy's will do the business at Stratford on Saturday. Tinds and Sands will be back and hungry to make an impression, so I fully expect the squad to react in a positive manner and continue this incredible unbeaten with a good result against Stratford. Re: V Stratford Town. Away. Saturday.

I hope we ca continue our unbeaten run and the pressure on the teans below us. merthyr are playing slough tomorrow so a draw there would really help us. I am going to stratford tomorrow but I have to make my own way back, so that will be fun.

Re: V Stratford Town. Away. Saturday.

ft 0-1 great result but sounds like another silly yellow card for Sandell. I'm guessing 3 more gets him a 3 match ban which might be a worry as things get tight at the end of the season

We done you a favour as well 2-2 away at Hitchin....and with Merthyr losing looks like it's yours to lose now
