Another great result against a strong in form Chesham side. Few changed to the starting 11 shows just how strong this squad is. The lads will need to keep the legs nice and fresh as games come quick over the next couple weeks. I honestly feel if we get through Kettering on Saturday with 3 points then the title is ours for the taking. We then have 3 games against Kings Langley Stratford and Basingstoke which even if we take 6 points from will see us with 78 points with 9 games remaining. Lets say we average 1.5 points per game which is below our current average we then finish on 91/92 points. I feel that will win us the league. And honestly the lads are a joy to watch. They want this as much as us and its nice we can see that. Pleasure is ours. Long may it continue.

How good was Matt Smiths goal...! A well worked deceptive free kick found him in a great position to launch a ground skimming missile that arrowed into the net. Great technique and skill

Chesham were a decent team, but there down fall was their constant moaning which started from the bench and transmitted to the players. The obscene and foul language directed at the linesman and referee went unpunished, a stronger official would of taken action against them. Once we controlled the game, their bench quietened down. A good all round team performance once again. I think Dan Bowman is getting a better player every game, a good signing.
Interesting to read their twitter feed. They are non-to-happy!

Agree with comment on Bowman. My MOTM but again can't argue that the striker with both goals gets it

A superb performance, the whole side played there part. Some of the flowing football we played espesially in the first half was as good as I've seen us play. The side has a great shape about it. We controlled long periods of the game, but still had a. Wobbly period after they got a goal back. But I supose it's asking to much to dominate a good side like Chesham for 90 minutes. That's one of the tricky ones out of the way. Kettering on Saturday will be another, I thought they were one of the best footballing sides we have played this season when we played at there place earlier in the season. I will be really happy if we can pick up the three points with our two key men missing. Tindle will be a huge loss, but Baggeridge will be back. Sandell will be another huge loss, I would say at the moment he is irreplaceable, he has never played better for us than he is now. Some of his step overs espesially in the second half were amassing. Hopefully Joe will shake off his knock, and I guess he will partner Pratt up front on Saturday. Although we do have other options. It would be nice to get a few more people in the ground on Saturday. Games can't come round fast enough at the minute. Well done Mark, Tom and the lads.
