Tony Godwin Article

I just thought I'd share on here that I had the chance to interview Tony Godwin, the current Chippenham Town Kit Manager and talk to him about his time at the club. Below is a link to the article.

The club wouldn't run without guys like Tony and Barbra A lovely couple who give so much time to our great club.

Nice article - people like Tony play such an important part throughout non league football and should all be congratulated. The professional game must wonder at the standard of service given for no reward other than love of the game.

This was a really good read and wonderful bloke Tony. Cornerstone of the club for certainly as long as I can remember. Echo Cook's remarks here about doing something similar with other stalwarts of the club. Back in the day the supporters club used to do things like this all the time in Fanzines, Newsletters etc and it's lovely to see these things in passing and also to make these people feel even more valued for their hard work and dedication for the club we love
