Kent Kauppinen

Sadly as I have voiced my concerns over before the arrival of Darren Chitty has signalled the end of Kent's time at Chippenham Town. I would be absolutely backtracking on previous comments if I did not declare myself disappointed at this decision as personally I have a great deal of time for Kent as a player but he has decided to take Highworths offer and continue his football career away from Hardenhuish Park. I am sure that everyone will join me in wishing Kent all the very best as he moves on, he does with our best wishes and congratulations for being a big part in the turnaround that has left us chasing the Conference South with a very real chance. And for Mr Chitty all I can say is welcome and good luck filling in my opinion what are big gloves to fill.

Re: Kent Kauppinen

 All the best Kent.

Presumably we retain his registration for the Southern League as he's dropped two levels going to Highworth?

Re: Kent Kauppinen

Kent has been a very good keeper for us, and a real nice guy.  That's football, players come and players go. Good luck at Highworth Kent.  I hope you bring them success.

As I feared - no smoke without fire. Good luck Kent.

Looks like Jenkinson also gone too.

Re: Kent Kauppinen

Both have gone I'm informed at Park game tonight, both want  regular starts I presume and looks like manager has decided others are in front. Kent so much better than Hellenic division surely must be a stop gap.Where has Jenkinson gone ?

Re: Kent Kauppinen

Kent playing Hellenic league. Good luck to the lad. I expect a lot will los some respect for him though. I have. Thrown his dummy out the pram dropping 2 leagues because another keeper was signed because his performances wernt up the scratch. Anyone in this league or even below id respect. But highworth? I guess due to his attitude and verbals people wont touch him.

Re: Kent Kauppinen

Andy Jenkinson went to Winchester and scored two goals for them last night.  Best of luck to him and Kent, as an earlier post said players come players go, better to play than sat on the bench. Chip will not be the poorer for their departures.
