Great result for the Park Boys last night, beating league leaders Malmesbury Victoria 2-1 at Hardenhuish. A reasonable turnout witnessed an end to end encounter with the Vics taking at early lead. Park drew level midway through the first half, and got the winner soon after halftime. A feisty affair at times, with a Park player receiving a red card for an off the ball incident. Park held on despite extreme pressure from the Vics for a well deserved win. COYP

Well done Park. It's a shame the season ticket does not include Park games. If it did I think there would be more supporters at the games. Maybe the club should think about having 4 types of season ticket indicated by the colour of the ticket. It could do something like this. Option 1 First team only seat in stand, Option 2 First team only ground admission, Option 3 First team and Park team seat in stand or Option 4 First team and Park team ground admission.

Honestly it's things like this that I find confusing. I really think that Season Ticket Holders covering Park Games as well would be a brilliant idea! You have to look at what the upside is to the downside. Of the active season ticket holders we have say even 30% take up that option and go to the Park games when they can although you might be losing out on entry price I don't know about anyone else but I never just go to the ground walk to my standing position and watch the game. I go in, grab a beer, get some food and half time rocks around and I grab another beer. I am probably not alone in this and should Chippenham Park games be being used to draw people in to use things like the Bluebirds Bar is this a bad thing? I think with the exciting things happening at Chippenham we need to try absolutely everything. Pardon the expression but if you throw enough shit at the wall, something inevitably sticks. Any ideas, anything to raise funds anything to improve attendance and the appeal of Chippenham as a club again to local and surrounding areas. We have an amazing board and a great management team now as well as a very strong team on the field. They deserve as much support as can be given
