Chippenham Town v Cirencester Town.

Tommorow we welcome our near neighbours from Cirencester. They have had a poor start to the season and sit third from bottom on just 3 points.  They have lost there last two games, but if I remember they were on similar run of form towards the end of last season, they came to Chippenham and did a smash and grab on us scoring in the 90 minute having been under the cosh for most of the second half.  There is nothing they would like better than coming to Chippenham and bursting our bubble and kick starting there season.  I know Mark and Tom will have the boys fully focussed and up for this game. The weather promises to be better tommorow so it would be nice to get a few more through the turnstiles to support the lads. It will be interesting to see if there is any squad rotation after the exertions at St Neots.
Good luck to Mark, Tom and the lads Let's get the win we need.  😎

Re: Chippenham Town v Cirencester Town.

Finished 4-1 goals from Pratty 2 and Matt Jones 2. Still top of the league and a crowd of 468.  Things are definetly looking up. My man of the match Pratty or Will Richards. Tindle as solid as ever. Monneyfields to come Saturday in the FA cup.  Well done Mark, Tom and the lads.  😎

Re: Chippenham Town v Cirencester Town.

Not so sure. For a large part of the second half they made us look ordinary. Stupid mistake by Sandell who does not look fit let them back in at 2-1. First two goals were goalkeeping errors - Sandell's cross for Pratt's second to make it 3-1 about the only thing he did well all game. Jones goal at the end was probably a cross that came in off the post. Conor injured again which must make him a doubt for FA cup game next Sat?

Re: Chippenham Town v Cirencester Town.

Made us look ordinary? Yet we played the whole game at 70%. Keeper at fault for the first yes. 2nd I think the keeper did well to get a hand on it. 3rd great pass from Sandell and touch/goal from Pratt. And then only Jones will know about the 4th. I would like to see the video replay. As for you new fan. Did Cirencester have a shot at goal except from the goal which came from a mistake? Did they have much possession? Did they look like scoring? I would say its a no to all of them. What game were you watching. Yes i dont think we were great. But it was still an easy 4-1. And we had shots blocked and chances also. We have 17 points from a possible 21. What can you complain about. Also if Sandell wants to play like that and not be fit fine. He has 4 goals. Pratt 3. Smith 3. Jones 3. No complaints from me. I think hes enjoying playing with Pratt. Someone who works as hard as him.

I think that stratford just about summed the game up correctly. Now let's see top of the league and unbeaten at the end of August, I'll take that thank-you very much. "We're Chippenham old boys and we sing when we want ". Shot or cross who cares it went in didn't it?
