    New Signings Announcement

    The Blues Bar Monday 25th June 7.00pm

    The Board of Directors of Chippenham Town Football Club would like to invite all Supporters on Monday 25th June to the Blues Bar at 7.00pm to witness the announcement of exciting new signings for Chippenham Town FC.

    According to today's Gazette it's a "marquee" signing - probably more "two-man tent"  :-) but we await with interest.  Any suggestions who it might be?

    My guess is it's one of our old players coming back and considering two have been released from FGR it could one of them.

    I've just had a look at Charlie Griffin's Wiki page and noticed that its his birthday on Monday 25th June 2012.

    I'd love to see him back at HP. He'll be 33 years on Monday, but still has a good season or two left in him.

    James Bittner has signed for Hereford United - good move for him.
    Hadn't thought about Charlie - assumed he'd be set up at Conf South level at least.  I reckon it's Beano - he can't bring himself to play for that shower in yellow any more - and now Bristol Rovers want him it's too much for him to contemplate.  He's back in the fold.         Sorry, daydreaming again.
