We made them look better than they are in the first half, but they did have the slope and wind with them. Really needed that first goal (how did Griff score from that angle? It was like a snooker shot in off the underside of the crossbar?) and after that we looked comfortable. Shame we couldn't let Fergie stay on for a hat-trick. Sandell just couldn't finish anything today - he looked unfit again and you would have thought his suspension would have allowed him to rest to fix the injury he has been carrying.

​Feels like a disappointing end to the season though, top of the league at the end of January and we finish 8th, just two wins outside the play-offs. Still I will be happy to be in our position rather than Paulton's and of course we beat the champions Poole 3-1 at their ground and they only narrowly edged a 0-1 at home to us. See you all again in August!
