A thoroughly deserved win on a dreadful surface last night. The whole team put in a shift and a half  against a team who are fighting for their SPL survival. A team re-shuffle with Andy Sandell missing from the starting line up due to a back problem. The new guy Ben Whitehead looked very lively up front, and caused Paulton all sorts of problems with his pace and trickery. Ben looks a promising acquisition. The manager decided to freshen up the attach mid way through the second half and introduced Ollie and Jay into the battle. This paid dividends with less than 10 minutes to go when Jay jinked his way through for Ollie to finish off a great move. Poole must be feeling very un-comfortable now with CTFC on level points with them. Not sure where the announced crowd of 220 were hiding, but it seemed a lot less than that. On to Frome next for another battle. COYB
