I have just been reading the Bath forum and I can sum up their situation as " Up s**t creek without a paddle" They are relying on redeveloping Twerton park to clear their debts, but surely this would mean selling the ground to a developer and moving to a more manageable site. The big supermarkets don't want to build big stores anymore ( ask Bristol Rovers) so selling to a house builder appears to be an answer. No they hope to get out of trouble by building a new stand, even when they are now only getting crowds of only a hundred more than us. So unless the person with the missing £33 million lotto ticket walks in they need to do some serious fund raising and budget cutting to clear their £750,000 debt.
To sum up Mark would be mad to leave us for an uncertain future at Bath.
