According to CTFC site he wanted too much money and is now not coming

This is a real shame because in my opinion Nick would have been a superb signing for us. Unfortunately this suggests two things to me, 1). did he really want to join CTFC in the first place following enquires about his availability ? and 2). If what he was asking for money wise is the going rate for a National League S/W striker, this is what we are going to face in terms of player's wage demands if we want to get to that level. Could a compromise on wages be negotiated if Mark really wants this guy, because according to the club website we agreed a fee for Nick with Bath City.

Do we really need an extra striker when Griff and Sandell start every game and two more are on the bench only getting the odd 20 mins at the end?

Perhaps an appeal to the fans might help many other clubs do - no harm in asking. There again Mark might not want to break a certain 'wages' barrier and cause unrest in the camp

If he's as good as everyone says why are Bath willing to let him go? Is he unhappy there ? Causing unrest ? Or are they trying to cut wage bill ?

I agree, which is why I cannot understand why Ollie is only a part player at the club. I know he has work commitments and such like, but amazed he hasn't lost patience and gone somewhere else.

Obviously prepared to be a bit time part player with Bath than a potential folk hero at HP

Or maybe Ollie just isn't very good - at least that's how it seems to be to my eyes
