CTFC vs Redditch

Another huge game in the context that Redditch are above us with a game in hand. These really are the games we should be looking to win at home and I for one am hoping for a great deal more effort than was shown in the F.A Trophy game against Dorchester. The result isn't the disappointing thing what was more disappointing was the lack of effort not just from one but several players. When Chippenham press the ball and get it back in good positions we have more than enough quality to see off most teams.

Re: CTFC vs Redditch

It will be a tough game, made even tougher with Gregs 1 match ban, but it's a game we can get something from if we play at our best. Good luck to Mark, Tom and the lads. 😎

Re: CTFC vs Redditch

Not much in it first half but we faded badly after ht.  Anyone see the class of 92 documentary this week when the Salford team were all p-ed at an evening event on the Thursday before a big Saturday game? Just wondering...

They simply wanted it more but our form is worrying. Last home league win was Sept 9th. We drop to 6th they are now 2nd

Re: CTFC vs Redditch

Very poor second half display, they wanted it more than we did. What has happened to the passing game, it was just long ball football yesterday, in a strong wind, not conducive. Long ball to front man and midfield 40 yards behind with no support. COYB!!

Re: CTFC vs Redditch

Wow, don't let the panic set in, i saw a close game ....... Not really a 3 nil,the pen just after their goal sealed the fate of the game....... the gaps between midfield and forwards is vast, very limited support. We must start defending from the front the defence is always under constant pressure with runners not being tracked and then we are overloaded at the back. The lads need to trust their quality, keep the ball and play, the team has good footballers but they cannot show their qualities unless we keep it and play . They can soon turn these disjointed displays around and march back up the table 👍
