Re: Weymouth

Several people including Weymouth fans saying what a great advert for non-league football. They came at us fast and hard early in the first half and with the help of 3 saves from Kent we soaked up the pressure and got on top towards the end of the half. Their goal came out of nothing with Kent making an uncharacteristic slip. We kept going at them and got our reward with several chances to win it.  With Preece and Pook missing this was a great performance. I like this team a lot. In past seasons we would have crumbled at the relentless pressure and especially after going 0-1 down. But they don't give up. Exactly the sort of performance needed going into Sat

Re: Weymouth

Agree with the last post, an excellent game that could have gone either way. A decent ref as well, let a lot go, which encouraged the flow of the game. Well done lads.

Re: Weymouth

What a game ! Great entertainment and great attacking play. Two sides striving for play offs i imagine.

Re: Weymouth

Agree with all of the above - very good entertainment.  Not often you get both sets of fans clapping the teams off at the end of the game.  Not sure what happened with their goal, it seemed to deceive Kent as he was going the other way - deflection or just a wicked swerve?  Anyway he kept us in the game in the first half as Weymouth started the stronger before we clawed our way into it.  Got to be happy with a point against a very good side - though quite how much longer they'll be able to get away with their gaffer in goal is open to question!

Re: Weymouth

Yes he fumbled a lot last night, we should have aimed more shots at him.
