Kings Lynn Town v Chippenham Town

This will be a tough game after the 8-30 am coach start. Kings Lynn have been good at home winning 3 drawing 1 and losing  1 We will have to be at our best to take the 3 points. Good luck to Mark, Tom and the boys let's get the result we all want.

Missed chances i understand, No Bevan, any reason ?  Sandell 90 mins is a plus. Chris Allen on bench for Bath yesterday, now that would be a decent signing after what i saw v Frome. .

Re: Kings Lynn Town v Chippenham Town

The game started well for Chippenham. It was great to see Sandell back in the starting  eleven. We dominated the early exchanges, missing a couple of half chances. On 15 minutes Sands out paced there centre back and placed his shot just wide, a couple of minutes later Kings Lynn caught us short at the back and a through ball put in there lively striker Sam Mulready and he just about got the ball under the advancing Kent to put Lynn 1-0 up. The rest of the half was even, but right on half time a great ball into the box saw Fergie time his run perfectly but his free header went just wide. The second half Lynn were full of confidence and there young side got in our faces and dominated the game, winning the first and second balls  far to often. With Mulready getting in a second time and chipping the ball in from a very difficult angle making it 2-0. Kent made two or three very good saves as a very lively Kings Lynn dominated the end of the second  half.  Scott  Beavan was ill after having a bad reaction to an injection and did not travel. Fine  margins in football, if our earlier chances were converted, the game could have panned out differently. Lets hope Mark and Tom get the reaction we need from the lads and we bounce back at Kettering on Tuesday night.
Got to agree a now fit Chris Allen would be a very good asset to the side.
