A fair result against a hard team, we were lucky not to be a goal down before the faithful had reached the Sheldon end. Lots of chances from both sides ( just thinking that Sandell may have converted some of ours into goals). We lost shape at the back after Tindle went off, before that he was one of the outstanding players on the pitch along with Bally. Anyway got a point and increased our lead at the top of the table as Ciren slipped up. Now for the cup and Frome town, a little cup run would help finance our promotion challange.

I totally agree with your thoughts on the game hobgpblin. That was certainly not the style of play were are acustomed to from St. Neots. Call it effective, call it what you like, but their style was certainly not pretty to watch. Spoke to our Manager after the game, and he said that the St.Neots manager decided to change their style to all out 'Route One' huff ball, which he believes is the best way to get out of this league. Best of luck with that me thinks. As you say hobgoblin, St.Neots would not have been in the game if Sandell had been playing. His pace and trickery would have terrified those big guys they had at the back.
