An excellent signing. A strong player who can dominate various positions on the pitch. A good guy and really  wants to play for us. It will be interesting to see where Mark and Tom play him.  We are starting to look like a squad that could be challenging this season.   😎

Wow what a signing. Did not see this one coming or any rumours of Andy signing. Did not realise that Newport County had released Andy back in May. Congratulations to the Management Team and Directors for signing a player of the calibre of Andy, who I feel will bring out the best in the players around him, and I also think Andy and Ashan will cause all sorts of problems for teams in the SPL this coming season. I still think we need a quality wide man to provide the ammunition for Andy and Ashan, and then I feel we will be able to mount a serious challenge to the fancied teams in the SPL. Come on you Mighty Bluebirds

I remember when Andy Sandell played a few games for us a few years back and he certainly impressed and will be a valuable member of the squad. Would agree he is a good signing but not so sure about the striker bit . The press release says he has scored 27 goals for his previous teams. I hope I'm wrong but I can't see Andy being the answer to our goal scoring problems. I would have thought we would have needed someone who has scored 27 goals a season not someone who has scored 27 goals throughout their career. But then those strikers are difficult to find and don't come cheap by the sounds of it.

Most definitely worth the wait, huge signing! Credit to the Management/Board on attracting a player of Andy Sandells calibre at this club, clear sign of the Bluebirds intentions for the upcoming seasons!
