Possibly the worse 40 minutes football I have seen at Chippenham in a long time but our first goal changed all that. Second half a lot better and a well deserved second goal, but what the hell happened to Puddy, don't footballers have a brain ? Everyone knows that anything like that gets a straight red and his actions could have cost us the result. Talk about hero to zero, I bet the air was blue when Mark got to speak to him. As for a temporary replacement Connor Thompson is on the books as goal keeping coach ( he played preseason at Melksham) and although his brother is without a club could we afford him ?

You should of seen him last season, I spent more minutes on the pitch cleaning advertising signs preseason than he did all year. He owes the chairman , manager and the fans big time and got to agree with insidelefts post.

Agree with Wellard on this one, Hopper no improvement on when he was with us last time, Dave Pratt a yard or two slower than when he went to Wealdstone, Our to scorer Jarvis seems to lack confidence in front of goal. I know this is only based on the home games I have seen but it comes down to the fact " You score more goals than the other team and you win."
Yan Klukowski is listed on the club website as a forward so maybe he's our 20 goal striker, give him a chance.

On the news today I saw that Peter Trego was leaving Somerset cricket club. Now correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he play in goal for us back in the early 2000's and he scored a goal from a free kick in his own half. I wasn't at the game, must have been away but I think it could have been a cup match. I'm sure those of you with a better memory than me will be able to fill in the gaps.

With the sad news that Bury have been expelled from the football league and the likely hood of Boulton following them it leaves the league two teams short. Will the powers that be promote two extra teams from the national league and if so will that mean that an extra team from National leagues North and South also get promoted?

Lost 1 nil, looking at the stats we have the best defensive record in the league but scoring seems to be our problem yet we appear to be top heavy on strikers in the squad, discuss.

Great result, superb performance from all the boys in what must have been stifling conditions. Got to agree ref was very poor.

Thought I'd wait until I had seen a couple of games before posting this season. Todays result was great although it looked like we would suffer from the curse of playing 10 men. There were times when we were hanging on to our one goal lead and it looked like we would drop the two points. Some valiant defending and a great penalty save by Puddy. Couldn't fault the workrate of the entire team especially in the terrible conditions. Ricay drop 8 places with that result and we move up to 9th , I know which manager will be happier after the game, the other could be checking his phone for a text from his chairman. Good assist for the second goal from Zebroski, needs some game time with the rest of the team. Luke looked more like a forward in the first half than he did on Tuesday but Ricay had big physical defenders for him to contend with.To summarize after 3 games we look solid at the back ( with McDonald still to come back) and we have forwards who should get plenty goals once they get there eye in, so safe mid table.

Thank you Director of football.

Well what was your take on the last two games, I take it you were there ?
