Any away win in this league is a great win š. Ā Looks like Harry Parsons is benefiting from being the main man up front. Ā Great stuff.
Half way to the magic 50 points - keep it going lads!Ā

Well on the money raising front I guess thereās the monthly quiz nights, which attract 15 tables regularly, and regular bingo nights, plus the dream draw. Ā The clubhouse also gets used by organisations during the week, so I think the club are pretty proactive in all fairness.

We might have to arm wrestle Bath for this - theyāre talking about playing down at Truro on that day rather than going midweek in January.

Must have been a decent result last night as no one has commented š
Not many teams will go to Truro and come away with a point or three, so thatās a great effort, especially midweek. Well done lads, and any supporters who made the trip. Hats off.

Very good from start to finish, so refreshing. Ā Harry Parsons seized his chance and could have had two or three, but denied by a very good goalkeeper and remarkably both posts - that seemed to defy physics. Everyone played their part but I will mention Andrews who, for me, had his best game to date.Ā
Well done all!Ā

Very quiet on here? We must have won š
Havenāt heard a report but a 1-0 away from home in this league is a great result, especially against a team in a similar position, so credit where credits due. Ā Thatāll be a great bus journey home with 3 points in the bag. Ā

Boreham Wood were a big experienced side and a real threat going forward, but Iām not sure they ever really had to get out of second gear throughout the whole game. I thought that weād give it a real go in the second half, especially in the last twenty minutes or so but we seemed to show no ambition with the substitutions. Ā I wouldnāt be pushing any panic buttons yet as itās still early days, but Iām seeing too much āacademyā style football being served up - very dull and very disappointing. Ā
On a brighter note, those of us who were watching the Town in the 1970ās will remember Ron Low, who was an imposing and skilful figure in midfield. Ā Heās not had the greatest health in recent years but was there watching on from his wheelchair yesterday. Ā Iād be interested to hear what he thought of it! It was good to see him.Ā
