4-3 winners after trailing 3-1.  The kids played very well in an entertaining game - Bradbury, King and Johnson coming on during the second half to add experience, with a Johnson “special” to win the game.  🔵⚪️🔵

Another great result, not an easy place to go to, so hats off to all involved.  54 points, cigars out and Bath away on Boxing Day.  It’ll be interesting to see how we finish from here - the current squad is a good one, and  there are obviously some very capable academy lads coming through, so even the ‘glass half empty’ brigade should be getting a little optimistic for the future? 😉

The are quite a number of Swindon season-ticket holders in Chippenham and surrounds - I’d have thought they would welcome watching some decent football for a change 😉 - and a few misguided souls who normally head west to Bristol.
The latest quiz was packed by the way - 21 tables - and no doubt a lot of punters took advantage of the £3 a pint for East Coast IPA - that’s been on offer for a month at least.

Proactive right from the start, a very good performance all round and a decent atmosphere meant a good afternoons entertainment.  That’s more like it!!  Can’t argue with the MOM award but best moment for me was the third goal - Ed Williams control of a very tricky pass and expert finish was top drawer.

Can’t argue with the above posts.  The frustrating thing for me is we have some of the most talented players to have ever pulled on the blue shirt, yet the way they’re set up and told to play is tedious in the extreme, just so boring to watch.

Gloucester kick off at 3pm, Truro kick off at 7:30pm. A ground hopper’s paradise, two for the price of one - only drawback is you have to watch football on plastic.

Clearly not one of our best performances of the season, and one I had to follow remotely, but thankfully we got the job done.  Keeping tabs on progress via Flashscore comes with its own stresses - I put a lot of mental energy into staring at the 0-1 until it changed to 1-1.  It was only then I relaxed somewhat and sort of knew we’d probably have the momentum to go and win it from there.  I’ve got to do the same next Saturday, so I’d be very grateful if we could get out of sight nice and early. 😉
A couple more wins should see us secure the Bath double-header for next season I’d have thought, unless they do something anti-social and get promoted.  Some of their more recent terrace recruits are getting a bit excited at the prospect, although the vast majority of their seasoned followers are more realistic and acknowledge even one season in the National League would be financial suicide.

Taunton had a pitch inspection - they then communicated the outcome to CTFC - then CTFC put it out on the various channels.  What more do we want? 🤷‍♂️
