Well Bath lost their playoff to Braintree...

Yes, 2 minutes from penalties apparently. Well that's Boxing Day and New Years Day sorted then....

Some interesting thoughts/ideas here. Personally I'm not sure the NL will make any great changes, we will wait and see. One easy step would be to add an extra week to the season to align with the EFL.
On a side note what a big game affecting the last relegation spot on Tuesday when Taunton play Torquay!

What an amazing game. Totally outplayed in the first half by a good footballing side, our first goal (what a strike) changed everything. Not sure whether their keeper got caught out of position a few times or whether he was just unlucky? Makes a change to score four goals, and none by recognised strikers!  Nice to have 700+ in the ground.

A common theme amongst these posts, start with an attacking lineup and tactics and just see what can happen! Very enjoyable game, I think we can assume Worthing have gone off the boil, or did we just outthink and outplay them? Either way its 6 goals and 6 points in 2 games against 'top' teams. I didn't hear who got MOTM but agree it could have been any one of most of the team.

Good atmosphere today (helped by the positive start?) and let me say again well done to those who look after the pitch after its recent hammering by the weather.

Excellent news. If ever a player showed commitment to the club on or off the pitch it has been Freddie. As for player of the season in my opinion there hasn't really been anyone obvious, but if I had to choose at the moment it probably would be Freddie.

Amazing result especially losing 1-0 at HT. Well done

So... Can we please have a home performance against Worthing on Saturday to be proud of? Our opponents will certainly come fired up having lost at home twice on the trot and not complacent

Agree. Result of the season, confirms what a very good away record we have. Looking forward to Saturday. Well done all.

Next seasons pricing for a season ticket is unsophisticated. In addition to the limited match discount offer, there are no incentives in other areas such as food/drink deals in the clubhouse or programs for youngsters to become invested in the football club were they to purchase a season ticket. At the end of the day, without offering incentives and value for money - people will decide the product is overpriced and simply not attend.

Absolutely. No attempt at using season tickets as a way of promoting/marketing the club like others do. (early bird price for Havant this year was £180 with 20% off certain drinks/food)  An attractive season ticket deal hooks in the die hard supporters plus some extra ones, once they are in the ground there is then the opportunity to boost revenue further. If people don't buy a season ticket and then don't attend the club makes nothing from them.

From there its down to the players/coaches to produce a brand of football at home to pull in the extra punters who wouldn't normally attend.

Sounds simple doesn't it.....

Seems like all of us regular fans (not just on here but people I talk to in pubs in town who are regulars) say much the same and  can see what is wrong, but for whatever reason we can't adapt to play another way and provide more entertainment to encourage more through the turnstiles.
When we had Ed Williams, Matt Mclure, Ty Johnson on, the team did suddenly look more threatening with cohesive forward movement but we still seem to lack finishing quality/luck to create goals.

I totally agree. Home form has been dismal this year, even some of the wins have been fortunate. Its only the hardcore 350/400 still bothering to attend. The club website lists 3 goalkeepers, 8 defenders, 12 midfielders and just 2 strikers. Unless we unearth a striker from the academy, get one in on loan or successfully convert one of the existing squad (AAH?) I don't see anything changing before the summer. Its not lack of effort, but its just not working at home.
