General Discussion » New season, same old same old » 12/5/2025 2:19 PM |
Although the 24/25 season has just ended the lack of information coming out of the club is again disappointing.
No indication of when, or if the retained / released list is forthcoming.
No admin progression for the club such as online season ticket purchases, season ticket seat reservations and online clubshop.
A distinct (albeit perceived on my part) lack of engagement with the local community to boost home attendances.
Year on year price increases with no discernable improvement in the overall match day experience.
Away fans are generally not complementary about their experiences at our ground.
I love CTFC, what being a supporter brings and meeting up with mates at the games, but, again, my perception is that the club is being run as a boys club for the few and not a community club for the many.

Why oh why do we have such an inferiority complex against Bath. Look at the history of our recent home results and performances against them.
Get bullied off the ball and let them get in the refs ear all game. They always seem to want it more.
Not naming names but there were at least 3 players who looked like they didn't want to be on the pitch today.
Let's hope next year we put a show on at the TSS.
Disappointed.

Due to a change in circumstances I can't go to Dulwich on Saturday. I have a ticket and a spot on the supporters coach available if anyone has left it too late to book up as Dulwich now sold out online.
Let me know if interested.

Interesting permutations on the last day, especially if Concord get a win against H&W on Thursday. A Weymouth win against Dover could see them safe and Dover or Dulwich swapping places with them.
Be good to keep another west(ish) country team in the division especially as we are losing Hungerford.
