Mr Gill has "parted ways" with Bath City.

An utter failure of a manager at a club with decent turnover.

Hopefully they get someone even worse in.

Think I've said previously that I don't mind the build up play and passing around as long as it's not just for the sake of it.  The trouble we seem to have (from my view) is that we don't build up quite quick enough, mix it up when there's a defence gap and pump the old long ball into space, our players regularly allow the opposition to regroup which can be frustrating.

Our position in league table shows us 5th from bottom with 9 points from 9 games combined with some dire performances have given us a disappointing start to the season
Is it time for a change of management?

Frank loves a "change of manager" post.

Plenty of the season to go and a very good FA Cup tie tomorrow for (hopefully) a couple of the lads to bag a goal.

Think we'll be fine with McClure + Parsons + the supporting cast.

Probably an age/generational difference between us, BB. Considering we sit alongside each other at games, you'll know that this old correspondent's ticker goes into overdrive every time we play cross-penalty-area pinball at the back.  Your youthful heart is clearly  "entertained" by this;  mine is racing at  180 bpm and close to requiring  medical intervention!

The difference between a pro side and semi pro side. They’d have spent all of Monday preparing to play us, whilst we wouldn’t have had a single session to focus on them after going all the way vs Enfield on Saturday.

I don’t see why we’d be upset or surprised at that kind of result last night. 3000 fans in and they will be right up there come seasons end, I’m just glad we’ve got our trip there out of the way early.

Absolutely this. Bad day at the office for us, every game won't be like that. Just have to look at the games we "should be winning" and focus on those.

I think I'm still one of the only fans that prefer our style of play. I do agree we should move the ball quicker though, that is my only criticism. The proof is in the pudding (last season, played 16, lost 16, 0 goal difference), for every "silly goal we concede by messing around at the back" we score goals too by drawing the opposition in. Some games we'll win, some games we'll lose.

I would rather be entertained than watching some hoofball shite like Hungerford.

Think I'm in the minority when it comes to our playing style. I think we will score more than we will concede playing this way, or about the same, the proof is in last season with our 12th place finish.

Overall I thought we let it slip yesterday, they had a very good press which forced our hand a little. An opportunity missed if you ask me. Thought they were largely poor and we weren't much better however if we score from McClure and go 1 up then that changes everything.

Early days, plenty of positives included Andrews and Colwell making their senior debuts. We go again on Saturday.

Increasing ticket prices is always a worry, across the pyramid to be fair. I think we should have kept them at £15 and for me kids should always be free or at least no more than a pound. Drop in the ocean stuff when it comes to kids entry prices.

Link has been amended but yes according to Wilts FA tweet earlier you can buy at the gate.

Completely agree.

It would have derailed any potential playoff push or relegation fight we were in, luckily we've not been in one but it does make you wonder.

NL are completely incompetent but we knew that anyway.
