Re: Chippenham v Poole

Had 2 defenders on bench 1 Winger 1 Midfield player and 1 striker . Any thoughts on that Believer/Toyboy?

Reginald, what relevance has that got to do with the points myself and toyboy have made? Baggy occupies 2 positions, of which he has done well for us in the past. We are simply implying he is worthy of a place in the squad and in a tight game like yesterday he would of been a good one to bring on and defend the central area, whether that was at centre back or defensive midlfield, as Poole kept on trying to explore that area.

Re: Chippenham v Poole

Strange dropping both full backs as they needed a rest, we have only played 3 games! Our discipline was poor in first half with Horgs and Guthrie getting needless yellow cards, when will Guthrie learn, even his team mates were having a go at him. Reckless challenge from John Beedon for the red card, but referee was brow beaten by their manager who berated the referee and asked him when did he last send off a player, and next tackle a straight red for Beedon, shame on managers who try to get opposition players sent off. Even down to 9 men Chip battled away and Pratty was excellent. Mike Jones looked useful, apart from red card, if it was him who committed the foul.

Re: Chippenham v Poole

The highlights of that game show that it was Guthrie that made the challenge for Mike Jone's sending off. Not sure it was even a foul from what I can see!!

Re: Chippenham v Poole

You are right Wellard looking at video it was Guthrie and was not a foul, Chipp should appeal that red card.

Inthebox, who said the fullbacks were rested? I'm sure it would of been a decision based on their performance at the weekend and as mentioned before I think Horgy was outstanding last night. Can only be beneficial having competition for spots in the starting XI.
