V Slough Town Away.

A very tough game tomorrow, but Sloughs form has dropped off a little of late. Two months ago they looked as if thy would stroll away with the league.   When we played them at our place in early December we let them off the hook and gifted them a point in a game we should have won easily.  They were a big strong side who kept going for the full 90 minutes, and got there equalizer in the  89 minute of the game, after, we had lead 3-1. They are now five points behind us but they have three games in hand, so if we could beat them tomorrow we would open up a nice little gap on them. I'm sure Mark and Tom will have the ladds pumped right up for this one. And with the addition of Joe McClennon we look even stronger.  Hopefully Will Richards can come in for Baggeridge. They are now back in Slough playing on there new ground at Arbour Park.  It's a game I'm looking forward to, it should be a very good one.  Good luck to Mark, Tom and the lads.  😎

Re: V Slough Town Away.

Totally agree with Stratford. We were awesome today. I think Pratty is still running down the M4. But everyone put in a real good shift today. Pleasure to watch all 105 minutes. Where did the ref get all that injury time?

Re: V Slough Town Away.

I agree with Black Sheep and Stratford a truely great win by the team. Every single player, including the substitutes, worked their socks off. The score line might have been more had Dave Pratts last gasp shot gone in after he had worked his socks off the whole game.

Have to say the match officials were dreadful. Several decisions baffled not only us but the home fans as well. The number of off side decisions given against us especially in the second half were abysmal. How the game lasted as long as it did only the referee will know.

Fantastic result. Can't wait for the next game!!!

Re: V Slough Town Away.

Super win but tension was high in the twitter stand for the 65 minutes of time added on. Haven't the team done well to lift the results after a run of draws on a number of levels. Goals against down to 0.5 a game that converting into 10 pts from 12.
Great stuff.

A great battling display from everyone. Richards and tindle were immense and chitty made two great saves in the second half.  Well done boys.
