What a great performance from the lads! Professional and solid all round. Well done boys, almost there.

And why wouldn’t it be? Short career, you have to make as much as possible in a short space of time.  Beano probably lives on or near south coast too, so Poole is a good and convenient option I guess.

I've got no problem at all with footballers moving for the money. Why don't they just admit it? Instead of coming up with such guff as:

# I spoke to the manager and and he sold me the ambitions of the club.

# I bought into the club's ethos.

# I'm looking forward to being part of a new project.

And when asked what his ambitions are, they invariably answer:"To play football matches and score as many goals as possible." Why don't they just admit that they signed on in order to earn as much as possible? What's wrong with that?

Give me strength! 🤦‍♂️

Yorkie, let me ask you this. If you went to a job interview that paid you more money and you got asked, why do you want to work for the company?

Would your answer honestly be purely focussed on the fact you will earn an extra couple of quid? Or would you make it about the opportunity the role brings?

Gutted! Day light robbery! Joke referee!
Sandall should have done bettet with his chance.
We have to win these games, drawing is not good enough!

Perhaps a bit harsh there, before the game against a side with a good chance to winning the league, I would have taken a point. Granted we could have won the game but a draw before the game is more than good enough. We now have to build from this, and get ourselves out of danger. Well done boys, keep this level of performance up and we will be fine.

Not saying he is perfect by any means, but everyone remembers when the keeper makes a mistake, Jared appears to be no exception. Ideally you want your keeper to have a boring game with your defence keeping most attacks at bay. How about the couple of outstanding saves he made which kept us in the game against Braintree and Dartford? How about the fact that he has untried combinations of back 4 in front of him and there have been problems with defence/keeper communication which should be done to Tindle to sort out as an experienced centre-back and captain?

More worrying to me is now playing with 3 upfront and we are still at not able to score

Absolutely spot on.

Great signing! Someone like him can certainly turn things around for us and lift the confidence of the current squad.

Apparently he left Banbury as he didn’t like their setup. Probably didn’t realise how far it was from Bristol. Don’t understand why Jones has been dropped, offers more than Mullings. Disagree with you on this one blueboo, Felix done extremely well for us, we always looked more solid at the back when he played and he was also great going forward. I do like McDonald, but for me he is more of a centre back then left back. Something needs to be done about Richards, last season done great but this season he has been at fault for a lot of goals. He’s low on confidence, so why carry on playing him? Why not put McDonald there with Tindle to freshen things up. I have been refraining myself from saying this but I must admit I am surprised to see only Tom Jones going and Mark keeping his job, for me it’s comes across as Tom being the reason for the bad luck/form of recent weeks. Just an observation, thoughts? Don’t get me wrong I do like Mark but just think it’s odd just the assistant going.

Anyway I am sure things will change and we will overcome this bad period, got more than enough quality in the squad to turn things around. Come on boys!

Agree with everything that has been said so far. I thought Sandell worked his socks off, I think it’s obvious that we need a replacement for Pratty quickly. Nevertheless we have shown that we can hold our own in this league and at the start of the season our goal was to remain in the National South, and I think we are more than capable of doing that. Unlucky boys, heads up and we go again against Hungerford.

Again, gutted about this. Pratty will be one difficult player to replace. It will be interesting to see who Mark and Tom will bring in as replacement.

It suggests the Management think that there are better options to strengthen us long term.  When good players become available someone has to make way.  That's what it looks like to me anyway.

Those that attended the pre-season Q&A session might remember the Chairman stating categorically that he's not happy to settle for where we are now.  He's ambitious, always looking to improve, and that goes for MC as well I'm sure.

Personally, having watched Curtis play, I don’t believe at left back he offers anywhere near as much as Nuno. I believe he is more of a centre half than a full back. The way our full backs play, more so of recent times, they are up and down constantly, and I can’t see Curtis doing that for 90 minutes. Saying that, he is a good defender with a lot of experience, so it will be interesting to see how he does for us.

Gutted, he was great for us during his time. A key member for sure and a nice lad, all the best.
